SCHOOL PROJECT
It shows general and cultural aspects about two important animal species, both in biological and symbolic aspects, of the Mexican culture (snake and jaguar). In pre-Hispanic times, beasts had a very special place within the worldview and were a fundamental part of human life. More than being appreciated only for their beauty, being considered as curiosities to have in captivity or as food resources and raw materials, they possessed a complexity and an incomparable symbolic richness.
